Short-Term Side Effects
Side effects of Xalatan may appear a few days after the first use of the drug. These side effects should disappear as the body gets accustomed to the medication. Some short-term side effects of the drug are visual problems like blurred vision and double vision; irritation in the eye, redness or burning sensation in the eye, and darkening or thickening of the eye lashes.
